The first section passes through a forest towards Echternach. The oldest town in Luxembourg is worth a visit. After a short flat section along the Sûre, the tour takes you up and along impressive rock formations to the village of Berdorf. Several renowned rock formations like "Priedegtstull" acccompany you and the tour leads to the next plateau which is in Beaufort. The medieval castle, which is only 800 m away from the route, is worth a visit. The regional blackcurrant liqueur "Cassero", still produced in the castle, is a perfect souvenir! Over quiet secondary roads, you reach Reisdorf. The tour continues through the valley of the White Ernz until Medernach. From there, you get via Heffingen, Christnach and Consdorf back to your starting point.
